Four new vehicles were stolen from a lot Thursday on the Far South Side.

A witness told officers that four males entered a lot about 10:45 p.m. in the 13400 block of South Torrence Avenue and took four new vehicles, Chicago police said.

One of the vehicles was recovered after it got stuck on nearby train tracks, police said. A fifth suspect drove the four males to the lot and possibly fled in a black Huyndai Sonata.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
