Chase Winovich joins New England with the No. 77 pick of the draft. He should fit seamlessly with the team bringing back memories of players like Mike Vrabel and Rob Ninkovich.
Here are four things that Patriots fans should know about Winovich.
1. Not just a “high motor” player
Winovich is much more than your stereotypical high effort, hustle type of guy. He showed out at the combine and proved his athleticism. He should bring a lot of versatility, leadership and production to the Patriots.
2. ChadTough Foundation
Not only is Winovich a phenomenal player on the field, he’s a great contributor off the field. He works closely with the ChadTough Foundation which supports research for pediatric brain cancer. Winovich went so far as to dye his hair orange before the Outback Bowl in 2018.
3. Has a huge personality
If the beaming smile and glorious blonde locks weren’t a giveaway, Chase Winovich is always entertaining to watch. With Rob Gronkowski retiring this offseason, it will be nice to have someone to quickly fill that hole.
4. Another seamless New England fit
