4 takeaways from Chiefs’ Week 18 win over Broncos

A satisfying end to the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2021 campaign saw them go out on a high note, handling business against their divisional rival Broncos and guaranteeing them one of the top seeds in the coming playoffs. Though the outcome was in question through three quarters, the Chiefs rallied late to lock in their 12th win of the season.

Behind the contributions of some of the newer players on their roster, Kansas City made Denver look every bit the part of a 7-9 pretender in what was Vic Fangio’s last game as a Bronco. They didn’t make it look easy, but the Chiefs did what they needed to do to head into the playoffs with momentum on their side.
