4-story waterslide debuts at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Texas

DALLAS — Get ready to splash.

A new, four-story ride with three separate waterslides will open Saturday at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Arlington.

The Banzai Pipeline has two enclosed tubes and one open-air slide, shooting riders down nearly 300 feet, according to a Six Flags press release. Slides have colorful fiberglass tubes, and the longest of the three slides features strobe-like visual effects.

A minimum height of 40 inches is required to ride the Banzai, which the company said makes it an “excellent ride for families and thrill seekers alike.”

The Banzai is the park’s biggest addition since 2014, according to Six Flags.

Hurricane Harbor, 1800 E. Lamar Blvd., is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays.
