4-star hoops prospect Jayden Stone officially visits Michigan State

With 4-star point guard Jalen Terry already committed for 2020, Tom Izzo and Michigan State continued their recruitment with the official visit of Jayden Stone over the weekend.

Interestingly, Stone comes from the same high school (Sunrise Christian in Wichita, Kansas) as 2019 recruit Malik Hall. Michigan State also reportedly flirted with the idea of bringing in 5-star Sunrise Christian center N’Faly Dante, clearly trying to leverage Hall’s commitment to recruit his talented teammates.

Stone is currently the 12th ranked shooting guard in the 2020 recruiting class and the 47th ranked player overall. If Izzo is able to recruit him, the combination on the wing of Jalen Terry, Jayden Stone, and Malik Hall would be very exciting for the future.

The shooting guard position is likely where Izzo will be spending much of his recruiting resources moving forward, along with the recruitment of a pure center, as we already noted recently that the forward position will be extremely loaded in 2020 with the incoming transfer of Joey Hauser.
