
Four people were seriously injured in a two-car crash Monday afternoon in Englewood on the South Side.
Paramedics responded to the crash about 1:15 p.m. at 59th and Aberdeen streets, according to Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Merritt.
Three adults were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, while a fourth person was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, Merritt said. A fifth person refused medical treatment.
The scene was cleared by 1:40 p.m. Merritt said.
Chicago police have not released details about the crash.
