Four people were killed early Saturday in Cicero when their vehicle crashed into a building and became engulfed in flames, officials said.

The vehicle was headed east on Roosevelt Road about 3 a.m. when it veered off the roadway near Central Avenue and crashed, according to Cicero spokesman Ray Hanania.

When police arrived at the scene the vehicle was engulfed in flames, Hanania said.

Officers were able to remove three of the people from inside, but all four occupants were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Hanania.

Three were identified as Julse Fleming, 23, Corey Williams, 23 and 24-year-old Anquanisha Murdock, Hanania said. They all lived in Chicago.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office later identified the fourth person as Tremaine Dequan Anderson, also of Chicago.

Cicero police are investigating.
