The Eagles 2020 opponents have been revealed and almost a handful of Philadelphia opponents will be revealing new head coaches next season.
Four Eagles opponents have a brand new coach, with three set to battle as NFC East rivals now.
****
1. Washington Redskins
Ron Rivera was fired by the Carolina Panthers, and after Dan Snyder finally seeing the light, Rivera is in control, Jack Del Rio will bring in his 3-4 defense and the Eagles will face this duo twice a season going forward.
2. New York Giants
Joe Judge left the guarantee of New England for the New York Giants. Bill Belichick’s special teams and wide receivers coach, Judge is from the Philadelphia area and is well thought of in the coaching ranks.
3. Cleveland Browns
After firing Freddie Kitchens and GM John Dorsey, the Browns are looking to reboot. Jimmy Haslem and company have already scheduled or finished interviews with Robert Saleh, Jim Schwartz, Brian Daboll, Greg Roman, Josh McDaniels, Eric Bienemy and Kevin Stefanski. The Browns will still return, Nick Chubbs, Kareem Hunt, Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry and as of now, Odell Beckham Jr.
4. Dallas Cowboys
The Eagles took back the NFC East crown in 2019, and that will only ratchet up this rivalry from here on out. There should be some intensity added with the addition of a new head coach, Mike McCarthy. With the Jason Garrett jokes now over, the former Packers head guy has a Super Bowl ring, while developing both Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. He’s set to hire Mike Nolan, setting up the Cowboys for a switch to the 3-4 defense.
