The Sultanate of Oman added on Sunday 1,197 more confirmed infections and four deaths to the official coronavirus toll in the country.
The Health Ministry said the total number of cases in Oman now stands at 38,150.
With four more patients dying, the death toll reached 163, it said in a statement.
Among the newly infected patients, 709 are Omanis while 488 are foreigners, said the ministry.
It added that 837 people recovered, bringing the total recoveries from the COVID-19 disease to 21,200.
