During this time of the NFL offseason, just about any talk of the coming year brings some excitement. It’s tough to deal without football, so even though the season is still several months away from officially kicking off, we’ll be delving further into the Denver Broncos’ 2019 schedule here.
While any semblance of a football game would likely be considered exciting for some right now, which games will be the most exciting for the Broncos next season?
The team will have a new head coach and a new starting quarterback, both of whom will be trying to help the team improve upon a pretty dismal stretch over the last two seasons.
With that in mind, these are the four games that will bring the most excitement this season.
Week 1 at Oakland Raiders

The first game of the season is always exciting and this game against the Raiders will be no exception, providing you can stay awake for the late half of ESPN’s doubleheader that Monday night.
Games between these two teams are always exciting, but when you throw in the fact that this will be the Broncos’ final trip to the “Black Hole,” it adds to the intrigue.
Week 2 vs. Chicago Bears

The Bears are coming off a tremendous season and most figure them to be one of the league’s best teams this coming season, making this a tough early season test for the Broncos.
Of course, this is also Vic Fangio’s former team, which makes it an interesting matchup as well.
Week 7 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The first game between these two rivals takes place in Denver and it will also take place on Thursday Night Football. The Broncos should have beaten the Chiefs when the two teams squared off in Denver last season and it will be interesting to see if they can put them away this time.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ high-powered offense against a Denver defense ran by Fangio is a dream matchup.
Week 9 vs. Cleveland Browns

The Browns are one of the most hyped teams heading into 2019 despite being a team that has been one of the league’s bottomfeeders for nearly two decades.
That is partly because of the improvement the team showed last season and because of the big-name players now on the team including Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham and Kareem Hunt, who will be serving the final game of his league-mandated eight-game suspension in this game.
The Browns came into Denver and beat the Broncos last season, making this a game Denver fans should get excited for.
