Four masked men broke into a West Bridgford home and threatened women.
Nottinghamshire Police is appealing for information after reports of masked men breaking into the house in Millicent Grove.
The incident happened at 9.30pm on Thursday February 6.
Two women were threatened while the house was searched.
Nothing was taken and no one was injured in the incident.
No arrests have been made.
Detective Sergeant Luke Todd, who is investigating the incident, said: "Nottinghamshire Police is committed to making sure that everyone feels safe in their own home.
"Detectives will be thoroughly investigating this incident and I would encourage anyone who may have seen anything to come forward."
