Five people, including the boy, were all shot in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
In the latest shooting, the 15-year-old was critically hurt around 9:45 p.m. in a drive-by, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.

Late Tuesday evening, police officers blocked off a short stretch of Princeton north of 59th Place with yellow caution tape. Inside that area, red police tape cordoned off a small area of the sidewalk in front of a two-story red brick home on the east side of the street.

Neighbors looked out of their homes decorated for Christmas to see what happened.

The man told police he approached a male on the street in the 7300 block South Morgan Street. The male then reportedly pulled out a handgun and shot the 24-year-old in the right hand and right leg, Alfaro said.
The man managed to get himself to St. Bernard Hospital and Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, Alfaro said.
