4 hurt when car crashes into building near Midway Airport

Four people were injured in a crash Saturday in Clearing near Midway Airport.

The crash happened in the 6300 block of South Lacrosse Avenue, according to a tweet from the Chicago Fire Department about 9:30 p.m.

Crews were called for reports of a car crashing into a building, fire officials said. Details about the crash weren’t immediately available.

Two people were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious-to-critical condition, fire officials said. One person was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in the same condition.

A fourth person was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in fair-to-serious condition, fire officials said.
