4 Giants players the Cardinals need to worry about in Week 7

The Arizona Cardinals hit the road to take on the New York Giants this weekend. They seek their third consecutive to continue an undefeated October and even their record.

To get a win, they will need to limit the production of several key players for the Giants. Who are the Giants the Cardinals have to worry about?

RB Saquon Barkley

Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

Barkley is expected to be in the lineup for the first time since suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 3. Before he got hurt, he had rushed for 237 yards on 6.4 yards per attempt. Now healthy, he is one of the league’s most dynamic running backs and could cause the Cardinals defense fits. Arizona is allowing more than 130 rushing yards per game this season and every team they have faced has rushed for over 100 yards.

TE Evan Engram

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

Engram will be back in the lineup after missing the team’s previous game because of a knee injury. The Cardinals’ problems with covering tight ends are well documented this season. Engram is the Giants’ leading receiver with 33 catches, 373 yards and two touchdowns. He leads in every category.

OLB Markus Golden

Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

Golden is producing at a high level for the Giants. His five sacks lead the team and are more than either Chandler Jones or Terrell Suggs on the Cardinals. With his relentless motor, his battles with either D.J. Humphries or Justin Murray will be fun to watch. That said, the Cardinals will need to keep him away from Kyler Murray.

CB Janoris Jenkins

Paul Rutherford-USA TODAY Sports

Jenkins has three interceptions this season, which is three more than any Cardinals player. And playing the Cardinals seems to bring out the best in Jenkins. He has three career picks against the Cardinals, tied for the most he has against any time, and has broken up more passes (13) against Arizona than any other team in the league.
