Every week, sports publication Pro Football Focus releases its SEC Team of the Week consisting of the best performance from every position around the SEC.
This week, four Dawgs received the honors for their performance during UGA’s 43-14 stomping of Tennessee.
On defense, linebacker Azeez Ojulari and cornerback Eric Stokes were awarded with a selection. Ojulari recorded three tackles, two of which were sacks. Stokes had one of the more memorable plays of the game when he forced a fumble that ultimately led to a UGA scoop-and-score.
On offense, running back Brian Herrien and guard Jordan Shaffer received the honors. Herrien recorded 88 rushing yards and a touchdown, while Shaffer helped anchor an impressive performance by the UGA offensive line.
