Four Cleveland Browns players received notifications of fines from the NFL for penalized incidents in the Week 1 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Left tackle Greg Robinson was fined $10,527 for his kick to the head of Titans safety Kenny Vaccaro. Robinson was ejected from the game for the infraction. He was not fined for a controversial call on a blindside block earlier in the game.
Defensive end Myles Garrett received the same fine amount for his open-handed slap to tight end Delanie Walker’s helmet after a play. He was flagged for 15 yards.
Defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson is $21,056 lighter in the wallet after his fine for a hit on QB Marcus Mariota. Richardson has already indicated he will appeal his fine.
Finally, DT Devaroe Lawrence earned a $28,075 fine for verbal abuse of an official. Lawrence has insisted the official cursed at him first when he accidentally nudged him following a play.
