4 Blues bettors are 1 Stanley Cup Final win away from winning so much money

After a Game 5 victory that wasn’t without some controversy, the St. Louis Blues are now one win away from the franchise’s first Stanley Cup, and that has a few bettors sweating out potentially huge paydays.

The odds on the Blues winning a Cup were pretty long, but there were a few fans who — like those who took the Golden Knights last year — took a shot, figuring that the NHL playoffs are a crapshoot.

Perhaps most famous is the story of Scott Berry, who according to FOX 2 was in Las Vegas in January and took the last-place Blues for a whopping $400 at 250-to-1, which could lead to a cool $100,000. He’s been offered a $40,000 payout of his bet, but he declined it. It appears this is his ticket:

So they could win $6,020. But Kramer also took the Blues to win the West at 150-to-1 with another $10 bet, which has already paid out.

There’s this guy who could win $50,000 because of a $200 bet:

All the Blues need is one more win.
