The Arizona Cardinals’ 2020 schedule was released Thursday and we know when they play everyone. They have two games on national television but both are on the road.
There are some tough things about the schedule.
Opening against 49ers

The Cardinals definitely don’t get to ease into the season. They start out with a big challenge — on the road against the 49ers, who played in the Super Bowl. The Cardinals have the opportunity to open with a statement win on the road against a quality opponent and division rival but it certainly is not a game you can expect to win.
3 road games in a row

After the Cardinals’ opener and play the next two at home, they hit the road for three straight games, including two on the East Coast. They play the Carolina Panthers, New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys all in a row. The games against the Panthers and Jets are two straight early games on the East Coast, where the Cardinals have historically struggled.
They face the Seahawks twice on short weeks

The Seahawks are one of the Cardinals’ toughest opponents year after year. They don’t get any breaks. They will face them at home after playing on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys, shorting them a day of recovery. They will, though, be at home for the first time after three straight road games.
Their second game against Seattle is on the road on a Thursday night. Thursday night games are always tough to begin with, especially for road teams. The Cardinals will have to do so in one of the toughest venues.
2 potential snow games

The Cardinals will travel to Foxboro in late November and to New Jersey in December. Cold and snow could be factors, which will be tough for a team that plays indoors in Arizona.
