4 available offensive linemen for Cardinals in 2nd round

The Arizona Cardinals, unless they trade it, possess the first pick in the second round of the draft. Because of how the first round played out, several offensive linemen expected to be selected on Thursday are still on the board.

The Arizona Cardinals have made rebuilding the offensive line a priority in the offseason and could very well use their second-round selection to bolster it even more.

Four players, in particular, could make sense with the 33rd overall pick.

Florida OT Jawaan Taylor

There could be an issue with his knee that has caused him to fall in the draft, but some mock drafts had him going in the top 10 picks of the first round. The Cardinals already have two Florida tackles in D.J. Humphries and Marcus Gilbert. Taylor’s player comp is Gilbert.

He is a fierce run blocker and athletic enough to be good as a pass blocker.

Having taken Kyler Murray in the first round, the Cardinals could take his left tackle in the second round. He can play both guard and tackle and has high upside because of his physical and athletic attributes.

Risner is also flexible on the offensive line, having played center and right tackle. He does not have elite physical traits or athleticism but shows good technique.

The Cardinals showed interest in McCoy in predraft evaluations, bringing him in for an official visit. Kliff Kingsbury is familiar with him, having coached in the Big 12. McCoy is used to snapping the ball out of the shotgun and could be a Day 1 starter, even though the Cardinals currently have two centers on the roster in A.Q. Shipley and Mason Cole.
