With another week of the offseason complete, it is time to take a look around the NFC West to see how the Arizona Cardinals’ rivals are doing. What is new with the San Francisco 49ers?
These are the stories Cardinals fans should know.
49ers’ strength of schedule is middle-of-the-road

The NFL released its 2020 schedule and the Cardinals will face the 49ers in Week 1 and Week 16. The Cardinals have one of the tougher schedules in the league, based on 2019 records. The 49ers do not. Their strength of schedule is right in the middle of the league.
Of course, they face the five-win Cardinals twice, while the Cardinals must face the 13-win 49ers the same amount.
Early projections have Niners rolling through division

A new schedule means predictions are already being made. The NFC champs are projected to well again. Despite winning fewer games than in 2019, these projections still have them dominating the NFC West.
49ers won’t be reopening their facility yet

The NFL announced that, where allowed by state and local regulations, team can begin to reopen their team facilities with restrictions. The 49ers will not be one of those teams beginning to reopen because things in California have not been opened up yet.
Deebo Samuels can be the best in the league?

Receiver Deebo Samuels had an impact rookie season. He will be counted on to be the 49ers’ top wideout. Joe Staley, who recently retired from the NFL after playing his entire career for the Niners, had bold words about Samuels.
He believes Samuels can be the greatest receiver in the league.
