With another week in the books, it is time to check in with the rest of the NFC West. What has been going on with the San Francisco 49ers in the last week? Here are a few stories for Arizona Cardinals fans to know.
No ‘Hard Knocks’ for Niners

The 49ers are eligible to be featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” which chronicles training camp each week from the inside. However, the team is not interested in being chosen and, at least reportedly so, they are not in the running. As for the Cardinals, they will not be considered because they have a first-year head coach, one of the three criteria to determine eligibility.
Niners add TE, cut safety

May is the time of minor roster moves but sometimes there are impact players who are added to the roster. The Niners added some competition behind TE George Kittle, signing tight end Levine Toilolo. To make room for him, they had to cut rookie safety Cameron Glenn.
Nick Bosa, Deebo Samuel suit up at NFL Rookie Premiere

The Cardinals had three draft picks at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere and we got to see them in their Cardinals threads for the first time. The 49ers had two there in Nick Bosa and Deebo Samuel. Bosa was the only defensive player. Check out how the Niners’ rookies looked.
Niners only projected to win four games in 2019 like Cardinals

In projections put together by ESPN’s Mike Clay, the Arizona Cardinals go 4-10-2 in 2019. One of their wins is over the 49ers. These same projections say the Niners only win four games as well. They go 4-11-1, meaning the Cardinals would finish ahead of them in the standings.
