In the 1,410 sessions held to administer COVID-19 preventive vaccines, as many as 46 healthcare and 27 frontline workers were vaccinated on Sunday.
As many as 40 beneficiaries in the 12 to 14 age group; 170 in the 15-18 age group also were given their doses. In the 18-44 age group, 2,328 persons were inoculated, and a total of 1,212 persons aged 45-59 also took the jab.
With another 630 senior citizens vaccinated, a total of 4,453 persons were inoculated against the infection in the State in the last 24 hours. Till date 10,13,88,796 have been covered under the government’s vaccination drives.
