FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ A man who investigators called a "person of interest" in the fatal shooting of rapper XXXTentacion has been taken into custody in Georgia, records show.
Robert Allen, 22, was arrested and jailed Wednesday in Dodge County, according to the sheriff's office there.
Dodge County is located southeast of Macon, Ga.
The circumstances surrounding Allen's arrest were not immediately known but jail records indicate Allen was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Office.
Last month, the Broward Sheriff's Office said Allen was seen in surveillance images from RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach where XXXTentacion was shopping before he was fatally shot on June 18.
Allen is the third person taken into custody in connection with the killing of XXXTentacion, whose given name was Jahseh Onfroy.
Jailed earlier were Michael Boatwright, 22, of Fort Lauderdale and Dedrick Devonshay Williams, 22, of Pompano Beach.
A fourth person named as a suspect in the case, Trayvon Newsome, 20, of Fort Lauderdale, remains at large.
All four men were indicted this month by a Broward County grand jury in connection with the rapper's ambush shooting death.
