39 things you only know if you grew up on the Falls Road

Growing up on the Falls Road was different from growing up in other parts of Belfast.

You were part of a tight-knit community and many things that make perfect sense to you wouldn't to an outsider.

We've pulled together some memories of Falls Road folk - from black cabs, to the Adventure Playground.. and of course a game of Cribby.

Take a trip down memory lane and let us know your memories in the comments below.

2. You fit your whole family into a black taxi. Three kids on the one seat.

3. You remember when the WestWood Centre opened and it was like an American Mall.

4. And when the Kennedy Centre cinema had a £1.50 matinee.

5. ...where you were asked to ‘see a boy or girl’.

6. You spent your Saturdays at the Adventure Playground and came away with (just a few) friction burns and bruises.
