BHOPAL: As many as 372 new cases of Covid-19 cases were reported in Bhopal on Monday. For the week ending February 12, positivity rate was 13.3%.
Only Seoni with 15.26% had a higher infection positivity rate than Bhopal. Raisen district was at 11.7%. These three MP districts have an above 10% positivity rate.
Three other districts neighboring Bhopal — Vidisha, Sehore and Hoshangabad — reported a positivity rate of 9.48%, 8.97% and 7.89% respectively. These six districts, five of them sharing borders with Bhopal have the highest infection rate in Madhya Pradesh.
On Monday, 915 people were deemed as recovered even as active cases remained high at 3,590. One patient died on Monday taking the death toll to 1,032.
