If you aren't one of the lucky 3.1 million people who live in Wales, chances are you've heard some things about us.
Whether it be our inappropriate relationships with sheep, our heavenly singing voices or the presumption that we are all from the Vall-eeys, there are a lot of stereotypes that come with the territory of being Welsh.
But if you were born and bred in the country, you'll know that only a fraction of these are actually true.
1. We genuinely get excited to hear another Welsh accent on holiday
2. And chances are we'll know someone in common - because everyone in Wales knows each other
3. All bus and taxi drivers are simply known as 'drive'
4. Everyone knows someone called Dai...
5. And their surname will probably be Jones, Thomas or Williams
6. There is only one road (well, motorway) in and out of the country
7. And our hearts feel like they're going to explode when we see this sign
8. Our transports systems are a bit last century
9. Some of our names can be a little difficult to pronounce
10. We LOVE being asked to pronounce this and never get tired of it
11. Tenby is Wales' answer to Tenerife and everyone has a had a summer holiday there.
12. Even though it ALWAYS rains in Wales.
13. We are very protective over our culture and language and will be ready to battle anyone who mocks either
14. Gareth Bale is considered a god and everyone has to bow when they see him
15. Our Mamgus and Nannas feed us unlimited cawl and Welsh cakes
16. A traditional Indian is served 'half and half'
17. Drinking is a national sport
18. And we can drink any other nation under the table
19. Chances are your Mam or Dad know either Bonnie Tyler, Catherine-Zeta Jones or Anthony Hopkins
20. Tom Jones is like a distant relative of everyone and must be protected at all costs
21. Gavin and Stacey makes us feel like home
22. And we all know someone like Uncle Bryn
23. Anytime we leave Wales, we must carry a Welsh flag or towel to let people know that we are Welsh
24. If we don't have our flag, we must find any excuse to tell people that we are Welsh
25. And explain to people the clear difference between England and Wales
26. This sign must be hung in Welsh homes
27. Everyone's Instagram includes a picture of us posing with the sign from Pen y Fan
28. We have the best sense of humour
29. Our relationship with grammar is complicated
30. We ask a question and then ask it again - don't we?
31. We only speak in Welsh when an English speaker walks into the room
32. Now in a minute makes perfect sense to us
33. So do 'John the Gas' and 'Dave the Milk'
34. Ear, year and here should sound the same
35. We find it hard to support England
36. But mostly we are a patriotic bunch who truly believe that there's nowhere quite as special as home
