CHANDIGARH/SHIMLA: Haryana alone reported 304 or more than 85% of the region’s 357 new cases of Covid-19 on Sunday, while Punjab recorded 43 cases and Himachal Pradesh 10. Out of the three states, only Punjab reported one death, which was in Jalandhar.
Punjab’s 4,399 vaccinations the day included 663 first doses, 3,736 second shots, and 622 precautionary doses. Haryana reported 235 recoveries. The day’s 7,535 vaccinations included 521 first doses, 3,008 second shots, and 4,006 boosters. The overall vaccination figure reached 4,36,79,889.
Himachal reported 11 recoveries and 143 active cases, while the state’s death toll remains 4,117.
