Telangana recorded 340 positive cases of COVID-19 and two deaths on Monday. With this, the infection tally in the State has gone up to 6,57,716 and death toll to 3,872.
On the day, a total of 75,102 samples were examined, and results of 1,658 were awaited.
The new 340 infections included 72 from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation region, 42 from Karimnagar, and 25 each from Nalgonda and Warangal Urban. No case was recorded in Wanaparthy or Kumaram Bheem Asifabad.
On Monday evening, the active case tally stood at 5,891.
