34 superstars who were traded in their prime

Antonio Brown is moving from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Oakland Raiders for a pair of draft picks. Odell Beckham Jr. is being traded to the Cleveland Browns for a first-round pick, a third-round pick and Jabril Peppers. The diva wide receivers join the group of superstar players who changed teams in their prime.

The royal deal that shocked a nation. The Edmonton Oilers sent Wayne Gretzky to the Los Angeles Kings on Aug. 1, 1988, along with Marty McSorley and Mike Krushelnyski, for Jimmy Carson, Martin Gelinas, $15 million in cash, and the Kings’ first-round draft picks in 1989, 1991 and 1993.
