The list of countries without travel rules is growing as the pandemic ends.
A number of countries have axed restrictions as the tourism and air travel industries reopen in earnest this summer.
It comes as face mask rules for EU air travel are to end next Monday, May 16, although rules may vary by airline.
Spain could be the latest country to lift Covid travel measures this month with holidaymakers hopeful restrictions could end as early as this weekend.
After May 15, it is expected that unvaccinated travellers will be able allowed to enter without proof of recovery from Covid-19 but the Spanish Government has yet to confirm this.
A statement from the Ministry of the Interior regarding the restrictions said: “This order will take effect from 12:00 pm on July 22, 2020, until 12:00 pm on May 15, 2022, without prejudice to its eventual modification to respond to a change in circumstances or new recommendations in the field of the European Union”.
Millions of travellers flock to Spain every month to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the beach.
Indeed, Brits made up 18.3 percent of the four million tourists who visited in March, according to the Spanish Statistics Institute.

No travel restrictions mean holidaymakers will be able to move about as in a pre-coronavirus world - that means no testing, proof of vaccination, or quarantine.
