Kilmarnock FC owner Billy Bowie has announced 32 new jobs.
Mr Bowie aims to support the growth of his business ventures The Park Hotel and Billy Bowie Special Projects after securing cash from HSBC.
The four-star Park Hotel, next to Rugby Park, will get a new outdoor bar and restaurant as well as modernised facilities.
The venue, which is the first football stadium and hotel complex in Scotland, will create 20 new jobs through the development of two function suites, to be completed this autumn.
Billy Bowie Special Projects will purchase six specialised vacuum tankers from Sweden and Denmark.
The vehicles, which are used to remove dry materials such as fine dust and hazard sludges, are expected to create 12 new jobs by the end of this year.
The new vehicles will meet rising demand for the service from the construction, utilities and petrochemical industries.
HSBC would not disclose the exact amount of funding provided.
Mr Bowie said: “Both the hotel and our special projects businesses have been growing in response to increasing demand, and I’m looking forward to adding to creating new jobs for the local community.
“HSBC UK bought into our growth plans and the bank’s support and advice has been instrumental to allowing both businesses to grow sustainably.”
