30yo woman charged with murder over death of Brayden Dillon

A second person has been charged with the murder of a Sydney teenager who was shot in the head as he slept in his family's home in Sydney's south-west on Good Friday.

Brayden Dillon, 15, was taken to the Children's Hospital at Westmead in a critical condition, where he later died.

NSW Police have described the shooting as a targeted attack.

Police said someone armed with a gun, whose face was covered, kicked in the front door of the house where they were confronted by Brayden's mother.

Officers said the pair exchanged words but would not detail their conversation.

Brayden's siblings, aged seven and one, were also in the house at the time.

The woman was arrested at Blacktown on Wednesday afternoon and will appear in court on Thursday.

She is the second person charged with Brayden's murder following the arrest of 26-year-old Conrad Craig earlier this week.

There was no bail application in court on Tuesday and he remains in jail.
