The initiative is in support of mental health charity CALM, in an attempt to raise awareness and help those who are struggling.
Selected pubs will be offering 'buy one get one free' offers on a wide variety of drinks.
The offer is designed to encourage people to reach out to friends and family members, by inviting them to the pub for a cheap drink and a chat.
A whole host of drinks are included in the offer, such as Guinness, Strongbow Dark Fruits, and Stella Artois, as well as Gordon's Gin, Corona, and Heineken. Non-alcoholic drinks are also included, such as Coca-Cola, Schweppes Lemonade, and Heineken 0.0%.
Liverpool pubs taking part in the campaign include The Flute, The William Gladstone, Dovedale Towers, Yates, and The Liverpool.
Customers can access the offer by downloading a voucher on the Great British Pubs website, which also offers a search feature to find out if your local is participating.
Nick Light, Managing Director of Stonegate Pub Partners, said: “We are delighted to be running our free drinks campaign again. But this time, we want to focus on the importance of the social aspect of the pub.
"For the last 18-months, our social contact has been restricted, leaving some people with feelings of loneliness, that’s why we’re running this year’s National Pub Fortnight in support of CALM’s helpline services, and encouraging our customers to reach out to friends and family members for a drink.
“Our customers have always been fantastic in supporting their local pubs, and this is our way of giving something back to them.
"This offer is about allowing our customers to continue to enjoy their local pubs and the sociable environment that our publicans and teams deliver on a daily basis while having a drink on us."
The Stonegate Group will also be making a contribution to CALM, and participating pubs will be raising money for the charity in order to support the work they do by helping those who are struggling.
The National Pub Fortnight campaign is taking place from Monday, August 9 until Sunday, August 22.
