30 fab photos at This is Tomorrow as fans and bands enjoy the final day

This video sums up the relaxed and happy atmosphere at Newcastle's This is Tomorrow music festival as it headed towards the end of its three-days.

Set in Exhibition Park and on the Town Moor, the festival had yet to see the evening line-up but there was plenty else beforehand, with lots to eat and drink on offer.

The huge event, which spills onto the Town Moor, saw headliners Foals end their set early on Friday due to concerns about the main stage safety barrier. They followed You Me At Six, Nothing But Thieves, among others. But all was sorted for Saturday and Sunday.

Over fifty bands filled the three This is Tomorrow stages each day, with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds with some Oasis hits on Saturday, following a damp day.

As they played, Mick Edmondson tweeted: "Is there a better place to be on earth right now? No."

The Vaccines, Ride, Editors and Glasvegas also appeared on Saturday along with young musicians each day on the BBC's Introducing stage.

Lewis Capaldi, whose album hit Number One this week, was supporting headliners Stereophonics on Sunday after appearing at Radio One's Big Weekend in Middlesbrough before heading to Newcastle .

He spent the morning serving customers at Greggs in Boro before his set and tweeted: "All those school mornings stuffing steak bakes into my face turned out to be worth it."

Johnny Marr and Embrace were also due to play on what the Met Office was predicting to be a sunny evening.
