The Arizona Cardinals added a defensive lineman to their roster on Sunday by re-signing Pasoni Tasini. However, that likely wasn’t the move people expected after they released starting defensive end Darius Philon.
They still have an open roster spot so they are able to go out and add another defensive lineman.
Here are three who could make sense.
Corey Liuget

If Philon was a fit after playing for the Los Angeles Chargers the last four seasons, Liuget should be as well, as he played eight seasons with the Chargers. The 6-2, 300-pounder is still unsigned and is coming off a torn quad that ended his season after only six games but might be healthy now.
He has 24 career sacks and has been a starter his whole career.
Domata Peko

Peko is 34 years old and still unsigned. He would fit perfectly at nose tackle, although Philon played end. Peko played the last two seasons for the Denver Broncos, coached by Vance Joseph, Arizona’s current defensive coordinator.
He would add good veteran depth off the bench.
Stacy McGee

McGee, 29, only played in eight games last season and was hampered by a groin injury. He played in a 3-4 defense with the Washington Redskins each of the last two seasons and has started some. He had nine tackles and a sack in eight games last year but had 44 tackles in 2017.
