The Chargers are looking to avoid dropping their third consecutive game, but the same thing applies for the Titans, who are also 2-4.
For Los Angeles to get back on track, here are three of Tennessee’s players that the Bolts must game-plan for in order to have success:
RB Derrick Henry

The Chargers are getting Henry a week after he had one of his worst games of the 2019 season. He finished with 28 rushing yards on 15 carries, along with one reception for five yards.
For Henry, production like that isn’t normal. On the season, he has 416 yards and four touchdowns. When playing at home, Henry has rushed for a touchdown in six of his past seven games at Nissan Stadium.
Los Angeles’ rush defense has been on a downward spiral the past three games, allowing 129 yards per game. It’s been a combination of lack of push from the interior, bad angles to the football and missed tackles.
Facing one of the league’s best running backs and one that will be eager to get back on track after a poor performance, the Bolts must build off their mistakes.
LB Harold Landry

Coach Mike Vrabel’s team has struggled to put up points the scoreboard, but they’ve done a fine job of limiting their opponents to few points because of their stout defense.
Second-year linebacker Harold Landry is one of the reasons why they’ve been having success, as he’s been effective at getting after the quarterback and stopping the run. Landry has seven tackles for loss and four sacks.
Landry primarily lines up off the edge, which means that he will be across from Sam Tevi or Trent Scott (assuming Russell Okung is out). The two must do be prepared for the disruptive edge rusher, who wins with burst, hands and cornering.
Safety Kevin Byard

The Chargers have yet to face a safety on Byard’s level this season. Byard has been solid defending the backend of the Titans defense, as his three interceptions are currently second in the league.
A big reason why Tennessee has allowed the fifth-fewest points per game in the NFL is his impressive ability to cover either boundary and read receiver routes and quarterback intentions.
Quarterback Philip Rivers has already thrown six interceptions this season and a few of those balls have been picked off deep. Rivers get afford to be chunking it up in the air as often because Byard will be there in his tracks.
