After a 27-10 preseason victory against the Philadelphia Eagles last week, the Tennessee Titans head into the second week of the preseason with morale high.
The next matchup will be against the New England Patriots, who the team stunned in Nissan Stadium last year with a 34-10 win. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. CT on the Titans’ turf.
Here are three Titans players to keep an eye on as they tackle the Pats.
1. WR Kalif Raymond.
Hardly another wideout on the team has garnered as much recent attention as Raymond has. He had an impressive 2019 preseason debut, leading the receivers with six receptions for 80 yards. Raymond has gotten looks since training camp began, and it will be interesting to see if he can continue to build off that.
2. QB Logan Woodside.
Woodside has looked good this training camp, and between those performances and the one he put on last week against the Eagles, he’s making a potential case for the Titans to keep a third quarterback. Whether or not they make that decision when the final 53-man roster could be another story, but he’s certainly one to turn attention to.
He completed 14-of-19 passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns at Lincoln Financial Field.
3. WR Cody Hollister.
Raymond isn’t the only lesser-known receiver making a name for himself. The former Patriot has also had a nice camp, and looked solid against Philadelphia.
He recorded four receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown last week, and will look to top that heading into Week 2.
