After tallying 32 or more points in seven consecutive games, including a record-breaking 53 point performance on Monday against the Denver Nuggets, Steph Curry brought his red-hot scoring streak to Oklahoma City for the first contest of a five-game road swing for the Golden State Warriors.
The seven-time All-Star point guard notched 42 points on 14-of-20 shooting from the floor with eight assists and six rebounds in only 29 minutes. Curry caught fire from beyond the arc, dropping in 11 triples in Golden State’s blowout 147-109 win over Oklahoma City.

Outside of Curry, five other members of the Warriors recorded double-figures in scoring on the way to 39 team assists to seal Golden State’s third consecutive victory.
Riding a much-needed win streak, the Warriors will travel to Cleveland for the second leg of a road back-to-back against the Cavaliers.
Beyond the arc
While Curry led Golden State’s onslaught from long distance with 11 3-pointers, seven other members of the Warriors tacked on jumpers from beyond the arc.

Jordan Poole, Damion Lee and Kent Bazemore each hit three triples, with Andrew Wiggins, Gary Payton II, Mychal Mulder and Juan Toscano-Anderson adding a splash to match Golden State’s franchise high for made 3-pointers in a game with 24.
Draymond Green
While Curry stole the show with 42 points in three-quarters of action, Draymond Green quietly added a triple-double performance against the Thunder.
The former Defensive Player of the Year registered 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the floor with 16 assists, 10 boards, three steals and two blocks in 30 minutes. Green’s performance against the Thunder was his third triple-double effort of the 2020-21 campaign.

Jordan Poole
Poole led Golden State’s second unit, tallying 17 points on 5-of-13 shooting from the floor and 3-of-7 from deep. Poole tacked on four assists and a rebound in 25 minutes off the bench. The second-year guard has scored in double-figures in three of his last five games for the Warriors off the bench.
