Three Houston Texans receivers have changed their jersey numbers.
According to Mark Berman of Fox 26 [KRIV-TV], Texans receivers Nico Collins, Anthony Miller, and Jordan Veasy are getting new numbers.
Collins, who was originally No. 84, is switching to No. 12. Miller is going with the No. 18, which was the number for Randall Cobb, who is now with the Green Bay Packers. Veasy is getting Collins’ old number, 84.
The numbers aren’t the crazy derivations that are going across the NFL with some skill positions taking advantage of the expanded number format. However, the players are starting to settle into numbers that seem to fit them a lot better than their original numerals.
