Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 4000 block of West Cortland Street on June 9, 2019, in Hermosa.

Three people were wounded in a shooting Sunday in Hermosa on the Northwest Side.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert about 2:11 a.m. in the 4000 block of West Cortland Street but found no evidence of a crime scene, Chicago police said.

Later, they were notified about three people who had walked into Northwestern Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds, saying they were shot in the 25th district, police said.

Two 17-year-old boys were hit, one in the leg and the other in the foot, police said. An 18-year-old man was grazed in the hip. All of their conditions were stabilized.
