3 takeaways: Thunder bench, 3-point shooting pushes OKC over T-Wolves

The Oklahoma City Thunder made 21 3-pointers, the third-most in Thunder history, to take down the Minnesota Timberwolves 112-103 on Monday.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 31 points led the way and countered a 33-point double-double from Karl-Anthony Towns.

The bench of Oklahoma City supplemented his production. All four players in the second unit finished with at least nine points and a plus-minus of positive-eight or better. For the second night in a row, these minutes were crucial in a Thunder win, as the OKC bench’s 46 points outpaced the 37 from six Minnesota bench players.
