The Associated Press announced the first and second-team All-Pro rosters on Friday as well as a full rundown of which players got votes. The Pittsburgh Steelers landed four players between the first and second teams with three of them coming on defense. But in looking over the entirety of the rosters and voting a few things really stand out from a Steelers point of view.
S Terrell Edmunds got a vote
Yep, you read that right. Edmunds, who was probably the fifth-best defensive back on the Steelers last season got a single vote as an All-Pro. To put that into some perspective, fellow Steelers Joe Haden, who had his best season with the Steelers including five interceptions didn’t get any votes.
Where is the Steelers offensive line?

In the final tally, no Steelers offensive linemen were named All-Pros and only two players got any sort of consideration. Center Maurkice Pouncey got four votes, whereas first-teamer Jason Kelce got 29 and second-teamer Rodney Hudson got nine votes. It was even worse for guard David DeCastro who only score a single vote.
Diontae Johnson an All-Pro

I’m sure Steelers fans everywhere were surprised to see that Johnson was named a second-team All-Pro as a punt returner. Johnson didn’t even become the team’s full-time punt returner until mid-November when wide receiver Ryan Switzer went on IR.
