The final piece to Ohio State’s 2019 recruiting class is in and it’s in the form of Dawand Jones. The commitment brings the team’s scholarship number up to the full allotment of eighty-five.
Jones, a three-star offensive-lineman out of Ben Davis High in Indianapolis has been gaining traction in recruiting circles recently, and Ryan Day and company got in on the action and was able to seal the deal over Penn State and a few other offers.
The commitment addresses a need on the offensive line that Ohio State sorely wanted to take care of today. Jones, in combination with Hawaii product Enokk Vimahi does just that.
With Ohio State’s 2019 recruiting class now complete, eyes will now turn towards a pretty special 2020 class that is now being assembled.
