
Three people sitting in a stolen SUV were shot and wounded Sunday evening in north suburban Waukegan.
The shooting happened about 11:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Yeoman Street, Waukegan police said in a statement.
Officers responded and found four males inside an SUV at that location, police said.
Two teenage juveniles and man in his 20s, all from Waukegan, were treated for gunshot wounds, police said. A fourth male from Zion was unharmed.
Witnesses told investigators the shooter left the area on foot, police said.
Police said the SUV they were found in was reported stolen from Barrington on Dec. 10.
