A man was killed and two others wounded in a shooting Thursday afternoon at a McDonald’s in Roseland on the Far South Side, according to Chicago police and fire officials.

Paramedics responding to calls of a shooting about 2:50 p.m. at a McDonald’s in the first block of West 95th Street found three people with gunshot wounds, officials said.

Rodney James Strong, 29, was shot in his body and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Another man, 27, was shot in the back and was taken to the same hospital, where he was in good condition, authorities said.

A 49-year-old woman was shot in the right forearm and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was in serious condition, police said.
