Three men were shot leaving one dead Saturday morning in Lawndale on the West Side.
About 9 a.m., they were in the 2800 block of West Congress Parkway when they were approached by someone who pulled out two guns and opened fire, Chicago police said.
All three were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment. Isiah Wallace, 29, was struck in the chest and abdomen and later died, the Cook County medical examiner’s office and police said.
An autopsy conducted Sunday ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.
A second man, also 29, was struck in the back, hand and thigh, police said. He was listed in serious condition.
The third man, 28, was in fair condition with a leg wound, police said.
Area North detectives are investigating.
