3 robbed at gunpoint within minutes of each other on South Side

Two people were robbed at gunpoint in the 7200 block of South Lafayette Avenue on June 8, 2019, in Park Manor.

Three people were robbed at gunpoint in separate incidents by the same person within minutes of each other in Englewood and Park Manor.

At 12:05 a.m. on June 8, a man robbed someone on a train in the first block of West 69th Street in Englewood, Chicago police said.

He robbed two people in the 7200 block of South Lafayette Avenue in Park Manor about 10 minutes later, police said.

The robber is described as 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-11, 140-170 pounds with dreadlocks and was last seen wearing all dark clothing.

Anyone with information on the robberies should call Area South detectives at 312-747-8273.
