3 reasons trading for James Harden is a bad idea for the Nets

The NBA offseason has already had its share of trades, but it now feels like everyone’s focus is on James Harden.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday that the Beard turned down an extension that would have gotten him $50 million per year with the Houston Rockets and that “he’s singularly focused” on getting dealt to the Brooklyn Nets, where he’d be a part of a big three with former Thunder teammate Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

On paper, it would be pretty amazing to see those three All-Stars team up.

But basketball isn’t played on paper. And it feels like this would be a huge disaster. Here are three reasons why.
