The three prominent members of the Green Bay Packers offense all made Doug Farrar’s top 100 players list for Touchdown Wire.
Receiver Davante Adams, left tackle David Bakhtiari and quarterback Aaron Rodgers were included in the list, which was based off Farrar’s top-11 positional rankings.
Adams ranked as the eighth-best outside receiver, Bakhtiari the fifth-best offensive tackle and Rodgers the fifth-best quarterback.
A closer look at the three players from the top 100 list:
No. 63: WR Davante Adams

From Farrar: “It’s tremendously impressive how Adams has taken to the subtleties of the position through his five-year NFL career. He’s become a rare scheme-transcendent receiver because he’s developed all the tools to master overage, and it will be fascinating to see what advantages new head coach and offensive play designer Matt LaFleur brings him.”
No. 60: LT David Bakhtiari

From Farrar: “Bakhtiari will occasionally lose power battles at the line of scrimmage, and he loses engagement at the back of the pocket once in a while, but when his technique is on, he gets around the arc and into his stance in a big hurry, and he’s able to hold off edge rushers consistently. He’s also capable of pinching inside to open run gaps and hitting the second level with quickness and accuracy.”
No. 17: QB Aaron Rodgers

From Farrar: “From a purely physical perspective, there is no better quarterback than Rodgers, and that’s been the case for a number of years. Tom Brady once said that Rodgers would throw for 7,000 yards in a season if he had the benefits of Brady’s offensive system, and that might not be an exaggeration. Nobody in the game today — and perhaps ever — can match Rodgers’ ability to make ridiculous tight throws under pressure and on the run. Living in McCarthy’s regressive offense has given Rodgers a bit of balkiness when it comes to committing to his reads at times, so one hopes he’ll get over it under LaFleur, and that he’ll have the kind of offense that can match his superlative talents.”
