After defeating the Atlanta Falcons on the road last week, the Tennessee Titans (2-2) will return home to take on the Buffalo Bills (3-1), who come off a close loss to the New England Patriots.
The Titans enter this game as three-point favorites, but in order to secure the win, they will need to accomplish three tasks on the offensive side of the ball.
Here are three keys for the Titans on Sunday.
1. Establish the run.

Its no secret the Titans offense is more efficient when the run game is is rolling. With a secondary like the Bills have, they will have to respect the run on play action passes.
2. Win at the line of scrimmage.

While winning at the line of scrimmage will go a long way in establishing the run, the offense line also needs to keep Marcus Mariota’s jersey clean and give him room in the pocket.
Left tackle Taylor Lewan returns this week, and Nate Davis has some game experience under his belt. This should give the offensive line a boost, and we should see better play from the unit as a whole.
3. Take the points.

It’s often the Titans go for it on fourth and short when they’ve crossed midfield. However, this is likely to be a low-scoring affair, and the Titans will need to take the points when they are there.
As mentioned before, this defense will be hard to move the ball against. However, the Titans defense will pose an equal threat to the Bills offense. Special teams and field position could be a deciding factor in this game.
